Always on connection

Telephone connection not required

No telephone call charges for internet surfing

Cost effective way to access Internet

‘Always-On’ means that the broadband sets up a permanent connection to the Internet that lets you access the Internet as soon as you switch on the computer and the CPE and do an instant log-in with your username and password. There will be no separate Internet telephone call charges.

All the technologies are capable of delivering the right bandwidth at your premises. Each technology has its own advantages.

FTTH is a direct link between our base station and your premises using optical fiber cable all the way. Fixed Wireless connectivity is a direct link between our base station and your premises generally using a client premise equipment mounted on your rooftop. ADSL is a direct link between our base station and your premises using copper cable. Each base station is in turn connected using optical fiber cable to our Network Operations Centre.

Wireless technology is used to minimize downtimes, and requires least cabling at client premises and helps to extend connectivity to places with topographical constraints to lay cables. FTTH/ADSL also requires higher maintenance at both our end and client end to maintain the guaranteed uptime.

Wireless Net Zone has a mesh network of OFC backhaul and ADSL/Wireless Base Stations. Each Base Station is connected back to back on high bandwidth OFC Network, thereby ensuring committed bandwidth throughput on wireless/ADSL network. This virtually enhances the service level on wireless network to the level of services on FTTH.

ADSL stands for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line. Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) is a type of digital subscriber line technology, a data communications technology that enables faster data transmission over copper telephone lines than a conventional voiceband modem can provide. It provides ‘always-on’ Internet connection that is automatically established once the ADSL modem is switched on and instant log-in procedure is completed.

Fixed Wireless Broadband Services refers to a technology that uses Radio Frequency (RF) to provide broadband connection. It also is an ‘always-on’ connection that is automatically established once the PC and Wireless CPE (Client Premise Equipment) are switched on and instant log-in procedure is completed.

FTTH stands for Fiber To The Home. It is a technology that uses OFC to provide a broadband connection. It provides ‘always-on’ Internet connection that is automatically established once the PC and Media Converter are switched on and instant log-in procedure is completed.

Broadband refers to a connection that has capacity to transmit large amount of data at high speed. Presently a connection having download speed of 256 kbps or more is classified as broadband. When connected to the Internet such a connection allows surfing or downloading much faster than a dial-up or any other narrowband connections.
